It’s hard for us to imagine being able to climb El Capitan (located in Yosemite National Park, California) let alone wanting to fall and swing from a rope attached to the mountain’s peak! But that’s exactly what the climber depicted in this video did, and he survived unscathed! We’re slightly frightened by the events in the video, but also intrigued! El Capitan, also called “The Nose”, is a peak that was once perceived to be impossible to summit and to this day is known as a notoriously hard climb. Give this a look.

Although its curative properties have been known around the world for many, many years, it appears the Noni plant is only now receiving the recognition it deserves. The fruit of the Noni plant has been used as treatment for several different ailments and is especially known for “its capacity for stimulating the immune system, increasing bodily energy, inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, regulating sleep, bowel functions and blood pressure, and treating erectile dysfunction in men.” Sounds like quite the miracle drug! We’d like to try some Noni infused tea, but as the plant is known for its peculiar and bitter taste, we’d make sure to include some honey.

Even if you’re no animal lover, you cannot deny the effect that puppies have on people. Take a look at this video filmed at a Chicago office building in which a puppy provides a welcome interruption to a typical day at work. The office staffers are more than happy to take a moment to pet, play and even take photos of the dog. Lucky for us at Outward Bound Costa Rica, we have lots of dogs on base who meander into our office regularly!
