Although we’re based in Costa Rica and have more ample opportunities than others living round the world to see these creatures, we were still delighted to find out that Saturday, October 20 was International Sloth Day (video)! This excellent video showcases the famed Costa Rican sloth sanctuary located along the country’s Caribbean coast. Learn more about sloths and fawn over some cute baby ones by watching “The Cute Show” video.

Check out this neat bridge which incorporates some natural grace by featuring falling water! We’re big fans of cityscapes that emphasize nature and, according to the description, the bridge does just that: “…the sound of the falling water transforms the bridge into a space of transition, an audible threshold between two worlds: the urban and the natural.” We would love to make a trip to Amposta, Tarragona, Spain to see this sight for ourselves!

Whether you’re an amateur runner or have competed in several marathons, this writer insists anyone running consistently should take a couple precautions before lacing up their sneakers. Because running does not just work the legs, but rather the entire body, a runner should loosen up before exercising by doing a warm-up. It’s also important to massage your muscles (myofascia) prior to heading out in order to protect against wear and tear caused by regular running. Good advice!
