Tri-Country Semester students finished up the last leg of their whitewater rafting phase with a three-day trip on the Río General, rafting by day and camping along the river by night.

But they’re not finished battling whitewater rapids just yet! They’re now spending nearly a week on the Río Savegre learning how to whitewater kayak.

Students may choose to use hard-shell kayaks on the river…

…while others choose to use inflatable kayaks also known as “duckies”.

They’ll be back on base by the end of the weekend. ¡Que la pasen bien!
