As a filmmaker, Karen Bass is constantly going beyond her boundaries to capture the most enticing animal behavior and more. Being able to constantly expand on her knowledge and perception of the world is what continues to keep her going. Whether she’s using helicopters to get in depth Grizzly life shots, hiding cameras in flowers to capture the tube-lipped nectar bat, or hiking into the high plains of the Andes to shoot the captivating sky, she’s not afraid to push her limits and explore new surroundings to get the most alluring shots.
