SERVICE CHALLENGE #1

The 10 Girl Scouts on Service Challenge #1 spent their first days on course in the rural village of Bajo Cuen in the Talamanca region of Costa Rica.

The groups also went to the San San Pond Sak Wetland Reserve in Panama and helped with conservation efforts targeted at the sea turtle population – the group had the chance to see some manatees typical of the marine areas of Panama!

The girls are now rafting on the Rio Pejibaye and will be doing a canopy and city Tour of San José capital tomorrow before ending their adventure-filled trip in Costa Rica.

Be sure to check back next Thursday for another Girl Scout Destinations update. For more course photos, visit and Like our Facebook page, along with our Twitter and Instagram. To learn more about our Girl Scout Destination Programs visit our website or contact our office.
