Tri-Country students have been busy battling rapids for the past week! They’ve been spending their time rafting three well-known rivers in Costa Rica: the Sarapiquí, the Pejibaye and the Pacuare. Everyone had a chance to try their hand at guiding the raft, as instructors Chago (seen below) and Antonio taught students the ins and outs of how to run a river.

Next up is a 3-day trip on the Río General where they’ll be rafting by day and camping along the river by night. Later they’ll be trying out whitewater kayaking, in either hard-shell or inflatable kayaks. We hope to get photos when they’re back from their adventures!
