Rising Up with Ropes – TRR:OL

Leadership students are taking their final test & practicum this afternoon for their Technical Ropes Rescue – Operations Level (TRR:OL) certification. The TRR:OL certification, combined with the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Whitewater Rescue Technician (WRT) certifications, will empower them to join any rescue team – teams that are crucial for attending car accidents, fires, hiking accidents and water emergencies and evacuations.

On Sunday, the group heads to the beautiful Guanacaste beach of Avellanas to try their hand at surfing – Lather on the sun screen, kids, and we wish you luck on those waves!
