Our Outdoor Leader Semester group was back on base for the last 2 weeks studying and practicing to gain their Wilderness First Responder (WFR) & Technical Ropes (TRRO) certifications. It wasn’t easy sitting in class for the majority of their days, but they did it with ease.
It’s not easy being the victim for the practicals either, but each one of them played the part to the fullest. We are proud of this group. They have shown leadership, friendship and maturity during their time with us.
On Wednesday, the group left for their 11 day hike across Costa Rica into the deepest regions of the rainforest. Look for an update next week!
