Outward Bound Costa Rica is thrilled to welcome our new Marketing & Media intern, Cahner Olson to our communications team. Cahner will assist us with our social media, design and outreach efforts. A talented photographer, she will also use her creative abilities to tell the story of Outward Bound Costa Rica through photographs and video. Cahner Olson Hometown: Omaha, Nebraska Education: University of Nebraska- Lincoln Cahner is joining us for an internship through our high season from Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently a junior at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where she studies journalism, global studies and French language. While at school, Cahner stays busy as a photographer for her school’s newspaper and music department.   Cahner’s passions include traveling, photography, and learning languages. Growing up in the Midwest of the United States, she developed a desire to see everything the world has to offer, and she takes every chance she can to travel. Her most memorable trip so far has been studying abroad in Paris, and getting to visit nearby destinations in Europe and North Africa.. Studying in France made her realize her love for French culture and language, and she is excited to develop the same love for Spanish and Costa Rican culture! When not taking photos, she enjoys reading, watching Netflix, hanging out with her roommates, and eating ice cream (her favorite food!).
