The Communications staff is excited to welcome our new Marketing & Media Manager to the Outward Bound Costa Rica team! Soizic Hagège will be using her experience and dedication to the Outward Bound mission to spread the word about OBCR’s outdoor programs in Costa Rica and Panama, and the different opportunities for students to get internationally-recognized certifications. She hopes to create impactful conversations with alumni, current and future students in Costa Rica itself and through social media. On base, she can be found baking vegan goodies, painting and meditating at the waterfall in the reserve. Learn more about Soizic below.   Soizic Hagège Hometown: Angoulême, France Education: M.A. International Development and Social Entrepreneurship, George Washington University Soizic is from the South of France, where she grew up in a family fond of extreme sports and outdoor activities. After getting her paragliding license, she set off to live in England, before studying in the U.S. for three years. She has worked in seven different countries and traveled a dozen others. Soizic has had a passion for using marketing and social media to raise awareness about businesses and schools that do good, which led her to Outward Bound Costa Rica. Soizic hopes to learn surfing and scuba-diving while in Costa Rica and maybe get a few outdoor certifications just like our students!
