Job Title: Electrical Designer II Location: Perry, OH Type: Contract Compensation: $45 Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen due to Nuclear restrictions Overview System One is e are seeking a high-caliber Electrical Designer to join an engineering team in Perry, OH . This role will be collecting electrical field data and making design changes for upgrades of the plant. This will not be working with the nuclear reactor. Electrical Designer II Responsibilities

• Understand and develop wiring diagrams, connection diagrams, one-line/three-line diagrams, schematic/elementary diagrams, logic diagrams, and conduit/raceway diagrams
• Produce complex 2D engineering drawings
• Check drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting standards, and completeness utilizing correct project design criteria
• Participate in field walk downs as necessary to obtain measurements, verify as-built documentation, and develop field sketches in support of plant modifications and design installations (occasionally required)
• Exercise independent judgment to develop designs with minimal direction from Design Supervisor, Design Lead or Engineering
• Concurrently support multiple projects
• Communicate with project engineers and other disciplines to develop drawings and resolve design discrepancies
• Interface with the customer and their construction representatives to integrate designs to satisfy their standards

• Associates degree in drafting, design or engineering technology or 4 years of equivalent experience in the design of electrical and controls systems
• Must have 5 years (minimum) of experience in engineering drafting and electrical design practices in addition to the education requirements
• Ability to utilize various drafting and CADD techniques as required for project requirements
• Recent plant modification package development and/or field experience on nuclear power plant projects is a plus
• Knowledge or use of Raster Design or 3D modeling experience is a plus
• Additional certifications and/or courses in basic electronics and/or electrical systems desired
• Ability to perform walk downs of equipment in an industrial plant environment, to include climbing ladders, working at heights, carrying equipment up to 50 pounds, accessing security-controlled areas, and entering confined spaces and controlled hazardous (e.g., high temperatures, high radiation) areas is required.
