Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required. Pending license accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS required. Must-Have: - Previous EP experience. - Previous interventional radiology experience. - Vascular experience. - Monitoring experience. - Neuro experience. Description: Cath Lab Tech position available for a 13-week assignment. The shift is a 4x10 schedule during the day. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in their specialty. Candidates will be required to float within the facility as needed. Weekend on-call coverage is required for 1 shift per week and every fourth weekend. Some Saturdays may be required as part of regular shifts. The candidate will work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab. Key skills include angioplasty, cardiac mapping, and stent placement. Experience with a variety of interventional cardiology procedures is essential. All candidates must possess the ability to maintain a sterile field. The facility is a magnet-accredited acute hospital with a focus on delivering quality care. The staff engages in diverse procedures including diagnostic cardiac cath, STEMI management, and structural heart interventions. Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and maintain accurate records. Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate essential skills and exhibit a commitment to patient care. References will be required during the hiring process. Candidates will be required to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Housing options should be explored prior to starting the assignment due to potential limitations.
