Step into a life-changing adventure with OBCR and HIOBS, where your leadership and outdoor skills will be challenged and developed across three incredible countries. From navigating the crystal-clear waters of the Florida Keys to paddling through Costa Rica’s thrilling whitewater and exploring Panama’s vibrant marine ecosystems, this course blends adventure and personal growth like no other.

Together, we’ll help you master technical outdoor skills—whether it’s whitewater rafting, scuba diving, or sea kayaking—while cultivating leadership capabilities that will serve you for a lifetime.

Course start, Big Pine Key, Florida; meet meet your group, load boats for sailing expedition.
Day 2-31
Backcountry sailing expedition in and around the Lower Florida Keys, including Solo and service projects
Day 32-35
Wilderness Advance Fist Aid training at the Big Pine sailing base
Day 36
Prep for Travel to Costa Rica.
Day 37
Fly to Costa Rica.
Day 38-44
Surf camp and clinic on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast.
Day 45-55
Whitewater rafting expedition, various rivers in central and southern Costa Rica.
Day 56
NAUI Scuba Diving course, island basecamp living.
Day 57-78
Sea kayaking expedition in Bocas Del Toros archipelago.
Day 79
Graduation, course closure.

Depart back to U.S
Once you touch ground in Costa Rica, this is what you can expect: Travelling with your course mates through the ancestral lands of diverse Indigenous nations, exploring the unique natural and cultural heritage Costa Rica, and Panama. In the Florida Keys, navigate warm, shallow waters teeming with marine life, sail the Atlantic, and snorkel vibrant coral reefs.
In Costa Rica, master whitewater rafting through lush rainforests and surf Pacific waves, immersing yourself in local communities through service projects. The final phase in Panama’s Bocas del Toro archipelago combines scuba diving and sea kayaking, offering rich cultural exchanges with the Guaymi-Ngobe people amidst stunning Caribbean waters.
