Work alongside local conservationists to protect endangered leatherback and hawksbill sea turtle populations through hands-on projects. These include nightly patrols, excavating old nesting sites, and releasing baby turtles into the ocean. You’ll also have the chance to assist with other important conservation efforts like beach clean-ups, planting trees, and maintaining greenhouses. Throughout the course, you’ll practice service to the environment and your team, embodying the Recreate Responsibly ethics as you contribute to the region’s vital conservation work.
