FAVORITE MEMORY FROM COURSE

“My favorite memory from course was learning to scuba dive in Bocas del Toro. At first it was a little scary, but by the end of the first dive all I wanted to go was go back down. I loved seeing the world from a new perspective. One night, we were able to do a night dive and the bio luminescence of the coral was breathtaking. My favorite dive we did was the shipwreck dive we did at a local cite. I was able to explore something completely new and truly find adventure.”

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH OUTWARD BOUND COSTA RICA HAD AN IMPACT ON YOUR FUTURE?

“My Outward Bound Costa Rica course helped me see my love for helping others. Now I have decided to major in Education at College, so I am able to help students were I am now discover the world, like what Outward Bound did for me.”

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ON COURSE

“I was able to learn that I could do anything. I was able to help an endangered species, learn new skills, and create amazing friendships and connections.”

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR FUTURE PARTICIPANTS OF THIS COURSE?

“If you are thinking about participating in an Outward Bound course, all I can say is that biggest adventure of your life is soon upon you. Commit yourself to the course and to Costa Rica. This means trying new foods, activities, and experiences without hesitation because you will find that getting out of your comfort zone helps you find a whole new you.”
