This week’s Pacific Surf & Cert students are the final Open Enrollment group for the Summer. Take a look what Grace and Julian have been up to:
Pacific Surf & Cert #3
Saturday, we welcomed Julian flying in to meet his course mate, Grace, and their instructors for the week, Molly and Colvin. Grace was previously on Caribbean Scuba & Service and moved onto her third week with Pacific Surf & Cert.
At base, they packed up their gear and headed out on Sunday to Manuel Antonio! They settled into our beach base in Quepos—a short car ride away from the crashing waves.
Monday morning they were woke up with the sun, got dressed, and headed straight to the beach. Grace and Julian were out in water early enjoying a surf lesson. Since Monday, they’ve been getting out to practice as much as possible. In their downtime, they explored Manuel Antonio National Park, learned about local wildlife, visited the local artisan market, and studied up for their First Aid certification.
Today, when they returned back to shore, Grace and Julian earned their CPR certifications! Tomorrow they will be heading back out to catch their last surf breaks before returning back to our rainforest base in the afternoon and flying out on Saturday. This Summer flew by!
