This past week, Tri-Country Semester students spent their nights in a local homestay at the Grajal family in Santo Domingo. During the day, they journeyed to the Río Savegre to paddle their way through whitewater rapids in kayaks. Check out the video from this phase:

On Saturday, they had a final run down the Río Savegre before returning to dry off a couple days at base. Bright and early this morning, they headed out with the Leadership Semester group to Solarte Island in Panama to become scuba certified.
