Coast to Coast Semester Update – December 15

Coast to Coast Semester Update – December 15

Coast to Coast Semester

After 85 days together, our Coast to Coast Semester group headed home on Tuesday.

“I’ve changed so much over the course of this trip, but definitely the change that stands out to me the most is my overall attitude and outlook on life. I wake up every day happy and excited now,” reflects Ada.

Ella also realized “I am so much more appreciative of life’s opportunities, more compassionate toward people, and more likely to be active. I now expect more from myself because I know how capable I am.”

After exploring 3-countries; navigating 2 rivers; conquering a cross-country trek; and learning surf, scuba, and sea kayaking – we asked the group how they would prepare the next Coast to Coast semester group of students.

“It was hard, but this will improve your outlook on life and change your view of the world and people,” Antonio explained. “Whatever hardships happen, just persevere and push yourself.”

Outdoor Leader Semester

Our Outdoor Leader Semester just finished their surf phase and is closing their 65-day program on the river earning their Whitewater Raft Guide license! This will be the 7th international certification that participants have had the opportunity to earn during the Leadership semester. They will explore the artisan market and experience a day of zip-lining before returning home on Sunday.

What an amazing group of students we have had this fall – we wish you all happiness and success in your next endeavors!
