The Outward Bound Costa Rica Alumni Ambassador program helps you bridge your experience abroad and life back home. It’s a career development opportunity allowing you to share your experience with peers, your school, and the study abroad community while building your resume and professional network. Through the program, you will be able to further reflect on your OBCR experience, learn how to better articulate your growth, and determine how to apply it to personal, professional, and academic endeavors.
The program is designed for the student schedule. It is flexible and easily molds to your availability, interests, and goals. The best part? Every Ambassador position and campus is different – so you make it your own!
OUTREACH
As an OBCR Alumni Ambassador, you will create study abroad awareness at your school and via social media, while also supporting students through your knowledge of OBCR by:
- Presenting to student groups
- Tabling or posting flyers
- Writing for school newspapers, newsletters or media
- Submitting content for OBCR’s social media
- Posting on your Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
- Writing blogposts
- Posting a review on travel abroad websites
- Bringing a group of friends or classmates on course to Costa Rica or Panama
