Education: B.A.(Hons) in Graphic Design from the University of the West of England
Helen has been based in Costa Rica for over a year after falling in love with its spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife. Since leaving the UK, she has been working for organizations that help deliver sustainable development projects in indigenous communities and national parks across the country. She is passionate about personal development and working with young people to create long-lasting change.
With a background in graphic design and communications, Helen is excited to combine this experience with her knowledge of Latin America to spread the word about the incredible opportunities that OBCR has to offer.

Education: Masters in Social Work (Community Organizing with Immigrants & Refugees) from CUNY Hunter College
In constant search of adventure and growth, Sushi finds home wherever she goes. She loves experiencing new cultures, meeting people, and connecting on similarities rather than differences. After discovering that people walk outside for FUN (and bring ALL their things with them in the form of backpacking), Sushi found beauty and healing in the Land around her.
After fighting for social justice with migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong for 2 years, Sushi decided to find the sweet spot of combining her love for nature and for people, leading her to Outward Bound. Leaving the safety of her known harbors, Sushi chose to get out of her comfort zone and move to Latin America. She hopes to find home during her temporary stay in Costa Rica and fall in love with this part of the world.
