SCUBA & SEA TURTLE ADVENTURE #3
During their time on course, the Scuba & Sea Turtle Adventure #3 participants had time to bond in Bocas del Toro, Panama, and drank coconut water from coconuts just cut with a machete near the jungle and the beach!
The girls tried trust falls where they had to trust their course mates to catch them.
Before returning to our rainforest base, the students will enjoy their stay at the San San Pond Sak Wetland Reserve where they will do sea turtle conservation projects.
CATCHING WAVES #1
During their first week, the Catching Waves #1 Girl Scouts quickly mastered surfing. They all stood up on their boards and hope to head out further in the water over the next couple days.
The group also played different beach olympics games, had daily conversations about chosen cultural topics and practiced their Spanish a lot!
On their course, the girls also learned how to make a typical Costa Rican breakfast of empanadas and fried plantains!
Today, the girls have been showering in the rain but aren’t letting the wet weather stop their fun!
