Our Scuba diving chica scouts leave today! They returned from Panama on Wednesday night and yesterday were able to enjoy their final day of course to the fullest with a day of whitewater rafting on the Pejibaye River. They’re enjoying their time Piedras Blancas and staying with local families in the region. They’ll get to know the community through activities like a tree climb, waterfall rappel, making tortillas, and playing fútbol with the locals.

Service Challenge #2

These service-focused ladies are finishing up their first major project in Gandoca, where they’ve been working with a local sea turtle conservation group. This weekend they’ll head back to our base in Tres Rios to spend a day ziplining on a canopy tour and exploring the local artisan markets of San Jose. The girls will then head back out for their next service project near Playa Tulín!

Build an Adventure

Daniels Academy

After a trip to Corcovado in the Osa Peninsula, the gang from Daniels Academy is back and ready to tackle the Rio General! The boys and their teachers will take part in a 3-day river trip where they will paddle hard, learn technical river skills and enjoy beautiful scenery during the day. The group will set up camp in the evenings on the river banks with the sounds of rushing waters to lull them to sleep. Have a great time, guys! We will welcome the boys back to our San Ramón de Tres Rios base on Sunday.
