Education: B.A. (Hons) in Politics with Media from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK with a dissertation focused on Water Poverty.

Louise first visited Costa Rica during a round-the-world trip in 2018 to volunteer as a Project Manager for a youth and sustainable development organization. Since then, Louise has been running youth development projects in the UK with an environmental focus, as well as tutoring English and running a Marketing program for an eco-friendly social enterprise. Prior to her adventures abroad, she worked in the Marketing and Community teams for a national supermarket in the UK.

Louise’s passions include working with young people and helping them to develop and grow, making new friends, and looking after the environment. She hopes to bring all of these together at OBCR and share her love for adventure and exploring. A keen lover of the outdoors, Louise has hiked through Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica and, most recently, through Portugal and Spain on El Camino de Santiago. In the UK, she was part of a rowing team and loves to scuba dive, kayak and play mini golf.
