Hike & Homestay Adventure #1

The ladies of our Hike & Homestay Adventure #1 have rafted, hiked and surfed their way to the end of their course. Today they’ll finish their adventure by ziplining through the canopy and taking a trip to the city center before heading home tomorrow.

Wilderness Immersion with Spanish Emphasis (WISE)

A group of six energetic and excited young men arrived yesterday to begin our 30-day Wilderness Immersion with Spanish Emphasis course. Before beginning their rainforest hike, they’ll be spending a couple days on the Pacuare river, one of the top 10 rivers in the world according to National Geographic.

There’s still room in Session 3 for our Surf Intensive and Hike & Homestay Adventure courses! Know someone who’s joining us this season? Receive a 10% Friend & Family discount when you enroll in a 2012 Summer course.

Catching Waves #1

After returning from Avellanas beach last week, our first group of Girl Scout surfistas went on a ziplining tour and headed out on Sunday.

Rainforest, River & Reef #1

These girl scouts have been exploring the remote villages of Piedras Blancas over the last few days. They’ve been hiking and staying with Costa Rican families as they learn more about the local traditions, such as making tortillas, grinding sugar cane and playing soccer. Today they’re working on a service project in Rancho Tinamu. Tomorrow they’ll be heading to our base camp at Manuel Antonio beach!

Service Challenge #1

The girls have been learning about eco-friendly practices while working on service projects at El Yue Eco-Agro Farm in Talamanca. Now they’re off to Gandoca to commence their second major service project of their course: sea turtle conservation!

Build an Adventure

Daniel’s Academy

Daniel’s Academy has just completed the Scuba portion of their extended Custom course! Students were able to practice their new craft off the coast of the remote islands of Bocas del Toro, Panama, while exploring ship wrecks, learning about the unique marine life, and swimming in crystal-clear waters. Next up the group will spend a day sailing on a catamaran, followed by a 5-day excursion in which they will explore the archipelago by sea kayak. Awesome!
