Daniels Academy

Also returning to our Tres Rios base yesterday was the group from Daniels Academy who recently completed a full Scuba certification course in Bocas del Toros, Panama. Today, after some well-deserved rest and relaxation on base, the group will head off to explore the Osa Peninsula. They return to our base next week to begin the river portion of their course.

Girl Scouts of Northern California

Girl Scout Troop #31822 from Albany, California arrived yesterday. After readying their things in the early evening with their instructors the girls turned in to get some much needed rest for the hiking portion of their trip! The Scouts left early this morning for Piedras Blancas where they will stay with a local family and learn about sustainable practices that are a way of life for Ticos who live rurally. Have a great time, girls!
