Summer Courses (Open Enrollment)

Wilderness Immersion with Spanish Emphasis (WISE)

Our WISE group headed out for a couple days on Costa Rica’s famed Pacuare River. They’ll return to base tonight before beginning their hiking phase early tomorrow morning.

This weekend we’ll be welcoming our Hike & Homestay Adventure #2, Multi-Element Expedition with Service Emphasis and Paddle & Dive to base. We’re looking forward to meeting our new students!

There’s still room in Session 3 for our Surf Intensive and Hike & Homestay Adventure courses! Know someone who’s joining us this season? Receive a 10% Friend & Family discount when you enroll in a 2012 Summer course.

Girl Scout Destination Courses

Rainforest, River & Reef #1

The girls just finished up service project in Manuel Antonio, where they planted trees with the TITI Conservation Alliance, an organization dedicated to achieving sustainable development of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific. Next up they’ll be going to Manuel Antonio’s famed national park and hitting the beach to catch some waves!

Service Challenge #1

Our Service Challenge ladies are now in Gandoca working on sea turtle conservation! They’ll be helping through activities such as nightly patrols, cataloging nests, habitat creation, and (hopefully!) releasing newly hatched baby turtles into the wild.

Build an Adventure

Daniels Academy

By now the boys from Daniels Academy are well into the sea kayaking portion of their trip in Bocas del Toro, Panama! Aside from paddling the clear waters between islands the group is also learning about a sustainable way to explore the region which has low environmental impact. We hope they are enjoying views of palm trees, white sand and warm waters! On Monday the boys will take off for Corcovado, Costa Rica in the Osa Peninsula.
